Many thanks for you kind offer of help. I've reworked Aquarius (cytser). It now reads:

Cytser y Sidydd yw Aquarius sef gair Lladin am 'gariwr dŵr.' = Aquarius is a constellation of the zodiac, a Latin word meaning 'water carier'.

Mae wedi'i leoli rhwng Capricornus a Pisces. = It is located between Capricornus and Pisces.

Ei symbol yw Aquarius.svg (Unicode ♒) sy'n cynrychioli dŵr. = It's symbol is Aquarius.svg (Unicode ♒).

Mae'n un o 88 cytser a restrwyd gan yr athronydd Ptolemy yn yr Ail ganrif. = It is one of 88 constellation listed by Ptolemy in the 2nd century.

A link to it's Wikidata entry would be good. Maybe it would be a good idea to do all 88 of the constellations, before we move on to the nebulae. Many thanks again; I'll try and develop your stubs once you have created them. As most of these names have many other meanings, let's add (cytser) after each one. Wikidata Lists

Hi Deb. Re: Rhestr o bobl gyda chofnod ar y Bywgraffiadur Cymreig Arlein and all other Wikidata Lists. The note at the top of this list mentions: 'Dylid edrych ar y rhestr hon fel rhestr ar waith, anorffenedig! Nodir pob person sydd yn y Bywgraffiadur Cymreig Arlein. Pan nodir eu dyddiad a'u man geni cant eu hychwanegu'n otomatig i'r Rhestr Cymry ar Wici. Ceir rhestr o ferched yn unig hefyd. Cofiwch - er mwyn ei golygu, ewch i Wicidata.' To translate: 'We should look at this page as an ongoing work, unfinished! All persons in the 'National Biography Online' (NLW). When place of birth and date of birth are entered (on Wikidata) they are then automatically in the Rhestr Cymry on Wicipedia. We also have a list of females only. Please remember: if you would like to edit, please go to Wikidata.' Listeria bot will automatically add new images and other info to this list. It's not your usual table format (enwiki only has a handful!); we have over 60 on cywiki. I personally have enabled Wikidata Lists on around 15 smaller wikis, but enwiki has not yet realised their power - in fact deleted my list of Welsh people - the only language to do so.

I suggested (above, 'Rhestr marwolaethau') that we could create lists of people who have died during a particular year, a couple of examples given (2014). The code which creates this automated list can easily be placed on every year: 2013, 2012 etc. When I have time, I'll also create lists of Welsh Biographies, divided into manageable sublists as suggested by you. Hwyl. I temporarily disabled the bot because it is adding back content that had been decanted into a separate list. This is to make the list manageable. If you have a slow broadband connection as I have, it is impossible to edit the article at the length it currently is. See en:WP:CHOKING. It is way over the recommended length. What's more, the bot is adding incorrect information (eg. see entries 76-77, who were apparently born in the 13th century but died in the 12th century). It is also overwriting the corrections I had already made. In English wikipedia the page is a sub-page within the project and would never be allowed to stay in article space. Thanks for you quick response. I've moved my (above) notes, from your Talk page, so that the discussion is kept in one place. You have a few reasons for disabling the updating of these lists:

1. it is impossible to edit the article at the length it currently is. I disagree, as explained above the list, all you need to do is to visit Wikidata and edit. Here's an example: St Maches, which I created earlier this morning on Wikidata, and which now appears on the list of Welsh people automatically. You can easily edit WD, even with a very low bandwidth.

2. the bot is adding incorrect information (eg. see entries 76-77, who were apparently born in the 13th century but died in the 12th century) - the answer I've given above applies to this. Just edit the incorrect entries on Wikidata! I've had a look at entry 76 (Rhys ab Owain); the info on WD as seen here, is that he was born in the 11th century, which is correct (we don't know his yob). For some reason, sparql reads this as being 1100s. So the fault lies in the code, and I'll bring that to the attention of WD. The purpose of this list is to list the names of people in the Welsh Biographies Online, useful as we can see which need an article on cywiki. It doesn't really need the dob / dod columns but one user (User:Ham asked for the date to be as full as possible (rather than year only).

3. I do think that you could have discussed the disabling of Listeria (the bot) with me first, as is usual. The above changes can not be done until it's changed back.

Sorry, for some reason I could not find an entry for Defnyddiwr:ListeriaBot and did not know who owned it. So I blocked it for a day. Deb (sgwrs) 07:37, 12 Mehefin 2016 (UTC)

4. Decanting into smaller lists is good (as I mentioned above): but a long (full) list of entries is also handy, as we can sort the columns and see the whole picture. :en:WP:CHOKING is not a rule on cywiki, and aiming low is certainly not a good thing. We should aim as high as possible. The link to my home page on WD shows that around 15 other languages have now lists of around 3,000 entries. Bandwidth grows daily, so let's aim high. You say the list is It is way over the recommended length. - no such recommendation on cywiki; the enwiki's recommendation hasn't been upgraded for years although bandwidth has improved.

@Deb: When you edit a page on Wikidata, for example (Q123120), you should see at the top right the name of a language, just before your name. Sorry, it will be quicker for me to explain this in English. I think the article "Hugh Hughes a'i Feibion" has a mistake in its heading and definition. Surely the publisher at Gwasg y Brython was "Hugh Evans a'i Feibion"? The only references I can find on the Web to "Hugh Hughes a'i Feibion" seem in the last resort to come back to this Wicipedia article, whereas Hugh Evans is referred too all the time. Decimals and mutation

Dydh da! I'm trying to update the CLDR plural rules for Cornish but there are currently no rules regarding the mutation of nouns used after decimals. Out of interest, what does Welsh do? Would "0.1 kilograms" be said 0.1 cilogram or 0.1 gilogram? What about 1.2 kilograms? 5.3432 kilograms? If it was something using a feminine noun like 2.2 cats, would you say dau.dau, dwy.dau or dau.dwy, and cath or gath? Meur ras dhis! --Moon (sgwrs) 01:59, 25 Ebrill 2018 (UTC)

@Moon: Interesting! And Dydh da to you my good friend! Interesting, because I've never come accross it in any texbook; however impulse and simplicity tells me not to mutate. We use 'cilogram' as the word, but 'kg' as a shortened form so as not to mix up with centimetr (cm). So 0.1 cilogram and 0.1 kg. The noun always stays in the singular, regardless of the number eg 5.3432 cilogram and yes, 2.2 gath or dwy.dwy gath are good. Not that I use that phrase every day! What is the best way of showing that in the Deddfau Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru article? This is how it was done at English Wikipedia.
