Gwleidydd Cypraidd oedd Glafcos Ioannou Clerides (24 Ebrill 1919 – 15 Tachwedd 2013).[1] Roedd yn Arlywydd Cyprus o 1993 hyd 2003 ac yn arlywydd dros dro'r wlad, wedi i'r Archesgob Makarios III ffoi'r ynys yn sgil coup d'état, o Orffennaf hyd Ragfyr 1974.[2]
