Beeston Regis
[golygu cod]Sorry for posting in English, but I'm assuming you don't speak Welsh. Thanks for creating the Beeston Regis article, but we do not put links to articles in other languages within an article on the Welsh wiki (and I believe that's the same on other wikis as well). Although red links look ugly within an article, what it does guarantee is that if a new article is created in the future (for Cromer for example), then the new article will automatically link there.--Ben Bore (sgwrs) 10:00, 28 Tachwedd 2012 (UTC)
- I totally agree with Ben Bore. PS Thanks for the article; I'm sure someone will develop further. Llywelyn2000 (sgwrs) 12:17, 28 Tachwedd 2012 (UTC)
- I've left you a message here. - Llywelyn2000 (sgwrs) 13:41, 28 Tachwedd 2012 (UTC)
Infobox
[golygu cod]As you may have already noticed, our infoboxes are all over the shop. I'm not too hot on infoboxes, but I've twaeaked it a fair bit, using fields from other aticles. Some fields (which I've left blank) on this version are not all relevant for English locations (eg Welsh Assembly Constituency), but this one allows more information, such as local authority and traditional/ceremonial county to be visable. In future we need to have seperate infoboxes for English places as I believe it has an extra tier of local government. Anyway, if you don't like the look of it, you are welcome to change it back.--Ben Bore (sgwrs) 22:01, 28 Tachwedd 2012 (UTC)
We don't normally encourage contibutions using online translations, but it seems you're taking care to fix grammer, I'm guessing by checking with existing content. Just had to delete and rename a few categories just now, so bear in mind the following:
- If creating anymore "XXXX in Norfolk" categories, remember this (although my note should say NASAL mutation not SOFT!...)
- 'Towns and Villages' is 'Trefi a Phentrefi', but a P>Ph aspirate mutation occured here as it follows 'a' (and). So 'villages' is actually 'pentrefi'.

More pesky mutations
[golygu cod]'Gorsaf reilffordd' (railway station) casues the word 'rheiffordd' to mutate as 'gorsaf' is a single feminin names. With the plural, its 'Gorsafoedd rheilffordd', without mutation. I've already started moving some articles form the incorreclty spelt Categori:Gorsafoedd reilffordd yn Norfolk to Categori:Gorsafoedd rheilffordd yn Norfolk. Also, while doing that, I've changed 'Gogledd Norfolk' to 'Gogledd Norfolk' in the infobox as that would be the name of the local authority North Norfolk, in the hope that one day an article will be created.--Ben Bore (sgwrs) 21:57, 2 Rhagfyr 2012 (UTC)
