Planhigyn oddfog, lluosflwydd sy'n frodorol i fynyddoedd gogledd Portiwgal ac Astwrias gan gynnwys cadwyn fynyddoedd Cantabria (cordal Cantábricu yn Astwrieg), ac o fynyddoedd Leon hyd at fynyddoedd Hijar yw'r Narcissus asturiensis, hefyd a elwir yn y cenhinen Pedr y corrach, neu genhinen Pedr Astwrias yn y Gymraeg.Mae'n tyfu ar uchderau hyd at 2000 m. Ers mis Mawrth 2022, ystyrwyd ffynonellau o Kew mai'r enw cywir ddylai fod yn y Narcissus cuneiflorus.

Uchsafswm maint y Narcissus hwn yw 7–12 cm ac mae iddo flodau bach melyn yn tyfu'n unigol.

Mae hwn yn rhywogaeth dan fygythiad yn y gwyllt, ond mae'n hawdd ei dyfu. Gellir ei dyfu fel planhigyn gwydn mewn gardd, sydd angen ei wanwyneiddio (cael cyfnod o dywydd oer) er mwyn blodeuo. Fel planhigyn gardd, bydd yn blodeuo ddiwedd mis Ionawr neu ddechrau mis Chwefror ar diroedd isel.

Mae'r planhigyn hwn yn cynnwys nifer o alcaloidau gan gynnwys hemanthamin, hemanthidin, tasetin ac epimacronin.
