Archeolegydd, nofelydd ac awdur Cernyweg ar hanes, archeoleg, enwau llefydd a mytholeg Cernyw oedd Craig Weatherhill (1950 neu 1951[a] - 18 neu19 Gorffennaf [b] 2020).

Aeth Weatherhill i ysgol yn Falmouth, ble roedd ei rieni yn rhedeg siop chwareon. Chwaraeodd bêl droed i nifer o glybiau lleol, gan gynnwys Mawnan.[1]

Gweithiod fel swyddog cynllunio, dylunydd pensaernîol ac arbenigwr cadwraeth hanesyddol i lywodraeth leol a gwaith preifat.[2] O dan arweiniad hanesydd P.A.S. Pool gwnaed nifer o arolygon archeolegol Gorllewin Cernyw ganddo.[3] Hefyd roedd Weatherhill yn Swyddog Cadwraeth i Gyngor Rhanbarth Penwith.[4] Cyfrannodd at raglenni BBC's Radyo Kernow, yn arbennig y cyfres 'The Tinners' Way' a 'Beachcombers'.[5]

Yn 1981 gwaed Weatherhill yn Fardd yng Ngorsedh Kernow am wasanaethau i archeoleg Cernyw , gan gymryd yr enw barddol Delynyer Hendhyscans (Dylunydd Archeoleg).[6][7]

Roedd yn aelod o sefydliadau Cernyweg Cussel an Tavas Kernuak ac Agan Tavas, yn ogystal â’r grŵp ymgyrchu Kernow Matters To You. Yn 2020, rhoddodd Gorsedh Kernow ei wobr Awen ar Weatherhill am ei gyfraniad arbennig i ddiwylliant Cernyw a Penwith.[8]
