I actually speak no Welsh at all, so I'm hoping no-one will be offended by me hanging out here.

I was slightly surprised to find no reference to Brother Cadfael who was the most famous fictional Welshman off the top of my head, but then if I remember correctly Ellis Peters chose the name because it was obscure.
