Notes

The photographer most likely was Harry Halstead McPheeters (1892-1960) who is missing from the photograph and was a professional photographer along with his father. Also missing from the photograph was Arthur Oscar Freudenberg I (1891-1968) who had abandoned his family in 1928. In 2019 it was confirmed that Charles Henry Pilkington (1887-1916) died in 1916 and he was misidentified in the family photo. The correct identity of the person in the photo has not been determined. The image as a whole has a Jack Torrance quality to it.
