Anal loop as in Tribe 1. Large insects of strong build, Aeschnine appearance, and rapid flight. Larva with smooth rounded body, long legs, projecting eyes, and a prominent pyramidal horn on the front of the head, between the antennae (fig. 36 c); lateral lobes of mask deeply indented.
