English: View east across Din Lligwy This shows the northern side of the enclosure and the buildings within it. In the foreground are the circular foundations of the main house - the owner of Din Lligwy though strongly influenced by what he had seen at Roman fortresses, still preferred the venacular circular design for his dwelling. In the background is the large barn which also acted as a gatehouse. Other buildings included workshops. |
