- I think this is very important. We may very well be losing potential regular viewers because of lack of clarity.
- Is it possible to link the pages where we do not have any information in them to the English Wikipedia help pages and are there any potential dangers and complications in doing that?
- I have managed to give the translation "Sut i Ymchwilio Wikipedia" and get it to link to the right page. But the title of page is still in English but perhaps that is not a big issue at the moment anyway

- I don't think we can link to the English Wikipedia, and even if we do it might just lead to people wandering off into it by clicking along links. But it is not so much of a deal to copy and paste their respective pages. I'd volunteer to do that if you give me the correct Welsh titles for the pages, either on my talk page or by translating the red links on help. That would save us the hassle of having to move them later on.
- The only complication I can think of is that the English Encyclopedia has got many naming conventions we do not have, so they might need a little sifting, but as the whole system as such is identical and I can't imagine there is a copyright problem either I suppose we might as well have a go... :-) --Okapi 00:20, 13 Hyd 2004 (UTC)

- Sure, I think it is fine! At least until we can offer more complete information. BTW, did you notice the comment on [[Sgwrs:Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers]]? There also is quite a detailed page Wicipedia:Croeso, newydd-ddyfodiaid. I'm sorry for the work you put into Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers, but I'd like to link the longer one to this page... - Diolch. :-) And I don't think the difference is causing a problem so far. Wicipedia seems to be the consensus here, though, and I suppose it might be a good idea not to mix them too much in Welsh so that we don't get mixed up with our own links.
- BTW, quite a different matter, but have you got any idea how to increase the number of our editors? They seem to have dwindled away a bit lately. I've been telling Welsh-speaking friends about Wicipedia, but that is about all I can do. For instance, I was wondering if it was possible to start something like a school project "writing for Wicipedia" somewhere or get S4C interested, but I just don't know the right people.... --Okapi 23:30, 13 Hyd 2004 (UTC)
